The second ReEnergy Capital compartment was set up in 2013 to invest in the renewable energy sector with an initial endowment of EUR 40 million. Investments shall regard two fields in particular:

    • solar photovoltaic in Europe, the Mediterranean Area, South America;
    • biomass and biogas plants in Europe.

The standard investment will be done by purchase and/or underwriting of part or all of the capital of special purpose companies (SPV) involved in developing and/or acquiring energy projects.

The compartment has a default lifetime of 10 years and a 1 year divestment period. Underwriting of shares is aimed at institutional and “well-informed” investors.

The minimum underwriting share is EUR 250.000.
